1. Introduction
Tawk App (“Tawk”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides a unified inbox application that allows you to connect, manage and respond to messages from multiple social media and messaging platforms (the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you:
- Download, install or use the Tawk App;
- Connect social media, messaging or other third-party accounts to Tawk; and
- Interact with us in any other way related to the Services.
By using Tawk App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy:

3.2 Information from Connected Social Platforms
When you connect a Social Platform to Tawk, we access and process information from that platform in accordance with the permissions you grant and the platform’s API rules. This may include:
- Messages, conversations, direct messages (DMs), comments and replies;
- Page or profile information (e.g., page name, profile name, profile picture);
- Message metadata (timestamps, sender and recipient identifiers, delivery/read status);
- Media content such as images, videos, audio messages or file attachments;
- Follower or contact lists, if required by the functionality you enable.
Note: We do not have control over the content you receive or send via Social Platforms. Those communications are subject to the privacy policies and terms of the relevant platforms.

When you use Tawk App, we may automatically collect:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system, app version, unique device identifiers.
- Log Data: IP address, access times, pages or screens viewed, app features used, crash logs, diagnostic data.
